ART VENDOR OR CRAFT EXHIBITOR APPLICATION


Vendor selection will be made and notification will be mailed upon acceptance, but no later than May 15th, 2005. Notification will not be given by telephone prior to written acceptance. All decisions will be made based on representation of your work in the photos submitted.

Five High Quality Photos must be submitted with your application. Four photos should represent the work you will be selling and ONE photo of your booth setup. Booth presentation is a decisive factor in the decision process.  The work exhibited MUST be consistent with the photos that are submitted. 

Craft Demonstrations are encouraged and should also be represented in your booth presentation.

Booth Space is approximately 10'X10'. Tents must be clean, in good condition.

All spaces are assigned by the Festival director. No changes in booth assignments may be made at the last minute. If you have boxes, tables, etc. behind your booth, please make it look neat. Make sure everything is tied down and anchored.

Application deadline is May 5, 2005.

General Information & Rules

Festival Hours are Saturday June 11, 2005  from 11:00am until 8:30pm.

Check In & Set up: You must check in with vendor coordinator and pick up booth assignments before setting up your booth. Check in at the big red star near the drop off zone. A map will be provided with your acceptance packet.

Friday: June 10, 2005

    Check in 3:00pm until 9:00pm

Saturday: June 11, 2005

    Check in 7:00am until 10:00am

Must be set up and ready to go by 10:30am on Saturday.

Parking: After you have unloaded, you must move your vehicle to the designated parking area. No unauthorized vehicles or trailers will be allowed to remain in the festival area during the event. All unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense.

Exhibitor Agreement:  My entry implies my willingness to obey all festival rules set forth in this entry application.  I am the creator of all work, which I will be exhibiting.  I understand that import and manufactured items will not be allowed in the festival. 

I will allow Hickory Creek Parks and Recreation to reprint my photos for use in their promotional materials.

Exhibitors must provide their own sturdy display equipment, tables, table covers, chairs, tents and one item to be raffled off in the vending area during the festival.

Exhibitors may not break down prior to the end of the festival at 8:30pm.  Failure to comply with this rule may result in disqualification from future events.

Exhibitors are responsible for complying with State of Texas sales tax laws.

Craftsman:  If you are a craftsman and would like to demonstrate your art and craft during the festival, you may reserve additional space for this purpose for a reduced rate.

The Festival:  Marine Quest and the Town of Hickory Creek are hosting multiple stages, Pickers and Grinners Workshops, Main Stage, Community Talent Stage, Craft Demonstrations, Children's entertainment and activities, a Marine Quest Boat Show, Art & Food Vendors, a Home Depot children's workshop and more.

I understand and will take full responsibility of the set-up for myself and my work and will not hold the Town of Hickory Creek, Town Staff, employees or volunteers responsible for personal liability, claims, loss or damage that may arise from participation in the Hickory Creek Folk Art & Music Festival.

For Purpose of evaluating the show, I agree to provide feedback to the vendor coordinator concerning my earnings and other information regarding my experience at this festival knowing this information will be handled as confidential. A feedback survey will be included in my vendor acceptance packet for this purpose.

The unloading permit included in my packet is my pass onto the festival grounds. Please display it in your vehicle windshield.

 No refunds will be given once your entry has been accepted.
