FOOD VENDOR APPLICATION


Vendor Selection will be made and notification will be mailed upon acceptance, but no later than May 15th, 2005. Notification will not be given by telephone prior to written acceptance. All decisions will be made based on representation of the works in the photos submitted.

High Quality Photos representing your booth setup and menu items with prices must be submitted with your application.  Booth presentation and menu selection with prices is a decisive factor in the decision process.  Food and drink items offered for sale MUST be consistent with the menu selection submitted. 

Booth Space is approximately 10X14' tents or vending trailers. Tents or trailers must be clean, in good condition.

All spaces are assigned by the Festival director. No changes in booth assignments may be made at the last minute. If you have boxes, tables etc. behind your booth, please make it look neat. Make sure everything is properly anchored.

Application Deadline is May 5, 2005.

General Information & Rules

Festival Hours are Saturday June 11, 2005 from 11:00am until 8:30pm.

Check In & Set up: You must check in with vendor coordinator and pick up booth assignment before setting up your booth.

Friday: June 10, 2005   -    Check in 3:00pm until 9:00pm

Saturday: June 11, 2005  -    Check in 7:00am until 10:00am

Must be set up and ready to go by 10:30am on Saturday.

Parking: After you have unloaded, you must move your vehicle to the designated parking area. No unauthorized vehicles or trailers will be allowed to remain in the festival area during the event. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense.

Exhibitor Agreement:  My entry implies my willingness to obey all festival rules set forth in the entry brochure.  I will allow Hickory Creek Parks and Recreation to reprint my photos for use in their promotional materials.

Exhibitors must provide their own sturdy display equipment, tables, table covers, chairs and tents.

Exhibitors may not break down prior to the end of the festival at 8:30pm.  Failure to comply with this rule may result in disqualification from future events.

Health permit: All food items must have a Town of Hickory Creek Health Permit. Health permit fees are waved, however an on site health inspection will be performed by the town of Hickory Creek on Saturday morning prior to opening.

Food Vendor fees are $150 (for commercial) and $50 (for non-profit), with no sales percentage taken. Additional spaces can be reserved for half price.

Food Vendors are responsible for complying with State of Texas sales tax laws and supplying change for cash transactions. There will be no tickets used for food and drink sales and no on-site bank for change making.

The Festival:  Marine Quest and the Town of Hickory Creek are hosting Picker’s and Grinners Workshops, Main Stage, Children’s stage, Community Talent Stage, Children's activities, Art and Food Vendors, a Home Depot Workshop, a Boat Show and more.

I understand and will take full responsibility of the set-up for myself and my work and will not hold the Town of Hickory Creek, Town Staff, employees or volunteers responsible for personal liability, claims, loss or damage that may arise from participation in the Hickory Creek Folk Art & Music Festival.

For Purpose of evaluating the show, I agree to provide feedback to the vendor coordinator concerning my earnings and other information regarding my experience at this festival knowing this information will be handled as confidential. A feedback survey will be included in my vendor acceptance packet for this purpose.

The unloading permit included in my vendor packet is my pass onto the festival grounds. Please display it in your vehicle windshield.

 No refunds will be given once your entry has been accepted.
